As the UAE’s coffee market surpasses AED 12 billion and 93% of consumption takes place outside the home, café culture across the region is rapidly evolving. Coffee is no longer seen simply as a beverage; it has become a central element of experience, community, and lifestyle.
Dubai-based Scarab Coffee is contributing to this transformation by providing scalable coffee solutions for cafés, hotels, and event organizers, helping expand premium coffee experiences across the UAE.
Located in Warehouse 34 at JAMS Logistics Building in Al Qusais Industrial Area, the company’s roastery operates both as a production facility and an innovation hub. The facility is equipped with precision roasting equipment, real-time roast profiling systems, and data-driven quality control technologies.
Scarab Coffee’s portfolio includes specialty beans such as Colombia Queen Gesha, Ethiopia Guji Uraga, and Costa Rica Musician Series. The company’s differentiation lies not only in bean selection but also in the scalable operational systems it builds around these coffees.
Through its Roast as a Service (RaaS) model, Scarab enables cafés to launch their own branded coffee lines without investing more than AED 1 million in roasting infrastructure. This allows partners to benefit from Scarab’s roasting technology and sourcing network while maintaining their own brand identity.
Beyond roasting and wholesale supply, the company also develops corporate activations, cupping experiences, and pop-up coffee events, positioning coffee as a cultural and experiential platform.
According to Founder and CEO Walid Ibrahim, technology plays a critical role in ensuring scalable quality within the coffee sector. Co-Founder and Marketing Director Dana Ibrahim emphasizes that coffee today represents not only a product but also a platform for culture and connection.
Dubai’s emergence as a regional coffee trading hub, with green coffee re-exports exceeding AED 3.5 billion in 2024, is further accelerating industry growth.
Within this expanding market, Scarab Coffee aims to shape the future of coffee experiences in the UAE through a coffee infrastructure model that combines technology, quality, and scalable systems.
